Can Microsoft 365 Copilot design your SharePoint taxonomy?

Yes, and it can do the work too!

I put it to work here on my example marketing site with three easy prompts:

1. Analyze the information architecture
2. Propose a scalable taxonomy (content types, metadata, naming conventions)
3. Take steps to implement it

I was also surprised at Copilot’s honesty of the site’s biggest weakness being governance, and not structure.

Watch the full walkthrough above. The prompts are on screen so you can copy them.

Have you used Copilot to audit a SharePoint site? Tell me what it found.
