🚀 GPT-4 vs. GPT-5 in M365 Copilot

Just got back from a few days OOO and decided to put Copilot + GPT-5 to the test.

I ran the same prompt twice — once with regular M365 Copilot (GPT-4 Turbo) and once with the new GPT-5 option — asking it to summarize my unread items and help me prioritize replies.

The difference?
👉 GPT-4 gave me a decent summary, and asked if I wanted draft replies.
👉 GPT-5 not only gave a great summary, but flagged 6 critical emails, drafted suggested replies, and asked which ones I wanted to refine.

Bottom line: GPT-5 felt more context-aware, actionable, and smarter in helping me get back on top of things after being out.

I’ll definitely be using it more moving forward!
