Using Copilot to Turn OKRs into Actionable Tasks: A Handy Workflow

This week, I discovered a clever way to use Microsoft Copilot to bridge the gap between OKRs and task management! 🎯

I had hoped to directly turn my OKRs into Planner tasks, but my license doesn’t support Copilot in Planner. Instead, I found another useful workaround:

1️⃣ Bring your OKRs into Word (these are example ones generated by Copilot, not my real ones!).
2️⃣ Use the Visualize as Table button in Copilot to structure your text.
3️⃣ Refine the table format with prompts (e.g., Task Name and Due Date).
4️⃣ Copy and paste the table into Planner for task tracking and reminders.

It’s not a direct integration, but it’s a quick and effective way to organize your goals into actionable steps.
